Hallway and Staircase Flooring Transformation – Invictus LVT & Cavalier Wool Tweed Carpet Rodel

Project Overview
This project showcases a seamless blend of luxury vinyl tile and natural wool carpet, designed to create a warm, cohesive transition from the hallway through to the landing. Using premium materials and precision finishing, our team delivered a staircase that balances durability, texture and modern style.

Materials Used
• Invictus New England Oak Sand LVT – installed in the hallway and on the bottom two steps for a clean, contemporary wood‑effect finish.
• Stairrods Bendy Bulls (Chrome) – providing a sleek, safe and durable edge detail on the bottom two steps.
• Cavalier Wool Tweed Rodel Carpet – fitted on the upper stairs and landing, adding natural warmth and soft texture.

Installation Details
We began by installing Invictus New England Oak Sand, Misty & Dusk in a three-tone herringbone design in the hallway and on the lower steps, chosen for its realistic grain, durability, and ability to withstand high-traffic areas. The steps were finished with Stairrods Bendy Bulls in Chrome, offering a refined, modern edge that complements the tone of the LVT.
As the staircase continues upward, the design transitions into Cavalier Wool Tweed Rodel carpet. The natural wool fibres and subtle tweed pattern introduce softness underfoot while maintaining a premium, timeless look. The three‑colour LVT design below pairs beautifully with the warm, organic tones of the wool, creating a staircase that feels cohesive from top to bottom.

This project demonstrates how mixed materials can work in perfect harmony. The combination of LVT and wool carpet delivers:
